- A one-time doubling of the gas tax transfer, to $2.2 billion, paid directly to municipalities to address infrastructure priorities in areas such as roads and bridges, highways, and public transit;
- An additional $1.01 billion for the Green Municipal Fund delivered by FCM to increase energy efficiency in homes and buildings;
- Up to $6 billion in new investments in rural broadband over the next decade to ensure Internet access for the two million Canadians still without a reliable connection; and
- Increased funding for affordable housing and disaster management.
